OpenListings.co.nz
OpenListings seeks to accomplish two primary objectives:

1.- To provide a single residential listings input portal for real estate companies, lenders, builders and home owners.

2.- To offer the New Zealand residential real estate professional community the option of operating a national Multiple Listing Service (MLS) which we believe would greatly enhance the buyers and vendors experience and outcome as well as to enhance the business opportunities for smaller real estate brokerages.

3.- For extraordinary results, one requires an

This application has already been downloaded and used by more than 35,000 people worldwide.

Cheap-Hotspots.com

As New Zealand has a limited population technologies in general and telecommunication specifically, have had a lag time when compared to some larger countries.  At the same time the costs associated with the delivery of technology have been generally higher in New Zealand.  One of the most visible of such areas has been and continues to be the availability of broadband connectivity in general and more specifically the lack of dense wireless internet (WiFi) coverage.

e-Agent is attempting to stimulate the distribution of WiFi access in particular and has developed a test distribution system withing the general Christchurch area.

There are currently about a dozen e-Agent NZ WiFi installations within the city.  These installations include at least four at various real estate companies, two shopping malls and several educational facilities.
